    Dogal Capriccio

Compared to machine made strings, the handmade Capriccio by Dogal is amazingly smooth and wonderful! It has a vibrant and well established sound without being overly harsh. These strings are a well kept secrets by "old timers" who wants a pure sound and ease in playing. I previously used Warchal's Brilliant line of strings prior to switching to Dogal's Vivaldi set. However, based on recommendations by several " stodgy" violinists, I decided to try Capriccio. And the only thing that I could say, is that I should have done it sooner. Sound wise, the Capriccio has a fuller sound than the Dominants and a much sweeter sound then the green packaged Evas. Plus with the great pricing by Concord Music, you can not possibly go wrong. If you think this review is pure BS, you can always add your two cents worth and write your own review. As for me, these will be my strings for a long time to come. Kind regards and dont forget to make beautiful music!

    Dogal Capriccio Soloist Violin

These are definitely some of the best strings I used! It's incredible. I have gone through Evah Pirazzi Gold, PI, and all the top brands, and these stood out to me. It has such a warm, round, gutty tone, and it is perfect. I also play a different style, south Indian Classical music, and for that style, this is the perfect marriage. Now the one thing I have to do is wait. Hope the sound does not deteriorate.
