Very well-balanced e-string

I have tried this string on a few different violins, mostly in medium gauge and now in heavy gauge.

This string reminds me of Gold Label in response and sound - it's powerful but also relatively warm and smooth, fairly brilliant but not overly so.

It feels a bit harder to both hands than Gold Label, but I feel that there's more of a complexity to the sound vs. Gold Label's slight edge in refinement.
