Best E on Earth

This is the best E string out there. My teacher is the one who invented it... he told the company what materials to use so that it never whistles, and doesn't go false (except eventually, when all strings must be replaced). And it delivers. The tone quality is excellent and it is easy to play on. A very consistent string. None of the many Es I have tried is as reliable as this. I use Peter Infeld for my other 3 strings paired with this E.

Fantastic E String Choice

This is the only E string my violin seems to love. It's incredibly easy to play on, sets up in under a minute, and sounds absolutely incredible. Playing at any dynamic is a breeze, and it's incredibly responsive. While it's not as loud as many of the wire options out there, the tone quality more than makes up for it. The complexity of sound- even above the shoulder of the instrument is astounding. Many audience members and students have remarked that my violin doesn't ever sound piercing or painful up high; the projection and tone quality are superior to everything else. It never whistles, never sounds strident, but has excellent clarity and projection anywhere on the fingerboard. I keep trying other options to see if there's anything better out there, and within a few weeks I always return to this string. It's really that good.

I realize this string is pricey, so I often recommend the Warchal Amber E as an alternative to students. While it doesn't last nearly as long as the Vision Titanium and doesn't have the same effortless clarity, the Warchal is a great sounding non-whistling string for 1/4 the cost.

The only E string that my violin loves!

The alternate E string provides a smoother sensation under the fingers; giving more of an A string diameter and resonance. In my opinion, this makes it easier to find notes, feel the vibrations from the string, and doesn't slice into my fingers like wire E strings do. In addition, the Titanium Wound E never whistles and sounds fantastic at a variety of arm weights. And it sets up in minutes and stays in tune. I've tried over a dozen E strings on my violin and this is the one I keep coming back to. Highly recommended
