The Cello d does not last long

It goes false right away
I am back to using my Prim D until I find something better
I did not like the Il Canone d either
I might try the Rondo d again

Excellent D String

Superb, bright, wonderful, textured strings. The D string stands out as one of the best I've ever used. As we cellists know, the D string can be a tough string to make sing. Versum Solo does the trick, and more. Both strings are punchy, with beautiful core sound, and especially easy to play. As a cellist who always enjoyed pirastro strings more, this is a welcome change.

D String

I really like this Versum Solo D string. Makes my dark cello sound brighter. The combination of Versum Solo A and D and Versum G and C is phenomenal. Makes my cello sound so much better - more clear, consistent and powerful!

Raising the bar for D strings

It's incredible. It projects at least as much as the Magnacore Arioso D or Larsen Solo D, but it's brighter (not at all tinny, though), more responsive, longer-lasting, and much easier under the left hand; that is, if you apply the same horizontal force with your left hand, you will slide farther on the Versum Solo D. Nor does it buckle under pressure. Additionally, it has a very clear, focused, natural tone, not at all processed like Larsen D strings. Even so, I think it blends better with the Magnacore A than any Larsen D because of its brightness and clarity. The Versum Solo D is the most soloistic D string I have ever played. Note: there can be some surface noise for as much as a week after installing; totally worth it.
